DESCRIPTION:
This fine pair of antiqued steel embroidery scissors is decorated on the shanks and finger bows with a design of scrolls and leaves.
The pivot screw joint is secure so they cut well. If you collect either antique sewing items or scissors in particular, these scissors will make a wonderful addition to your collection.

This item was from the private collection of Joan Roberts (1931-2024). A talented needle worker, her collection of needlework tools and related items was a natural extension of her interest in this craft. Acquired over many years, it was particularly strong in stilettos and scissors.
