One of the greatest ever Moving Magnet cartridges which has been hopped up by one of the best retippers in the business.
Expert Stylus Company fitted a pure sapphire cantilever with one of their Paratrace tips to it. I listened to it earlier and can confirm it’s quite a thing. It does need very careful set up but it will reward you. Half tempted to keep it but I have a stable of highfaultin’ MCs and I know it wouldn’t get the use it deserves.
The question on everyone’s lips: “how much use has it had?” Afraid I don’t know and the former owner is no longer around to ask but I can tell you it sounded stunning once I’d got it dialled in. Good looking beast, too.
