For sale is a post-1990 handcrafted, decorative, heavy, sturdy and durable Japanese Buddhist altar table stand in good overall condition.  The 2-piece Buddhist altar table stand is about 11cm (4 5/16") high, 31cm (12 1/5") long, 9.5cm (3 3/4") wide and it weighs 850 grams.

The Buddhist altar table features an elegant combination of a glossy black lacquer finish and radiant gold leaf accents.  The front is adorned with intricate, beautiful floral and openwork carvings, showcasing traditional Japanese craftsmanship.  The top tray is removable as shown in the photographs, making it versatile for display and easy to clean. It is perfect for holding Buddhist ritual items, incense burners, or as a decorative vintage Asian accent piece for your home.

[Condition]
- General:  This is a vintage/used item and it shows an authentic aged character with elegant patinas.
- Front & Top Surfaces:  The black lacquer has a beautiful gloss, but there are minor surface scuffs, dust, and light scratches consistent with handling and age. The gold leaf sections are in good condition with minor wear and scuffs.
- Underside / Bottom:  There are visible scratches, scuffs, and signs of friction on the black lacquered base/underside from placement over the years (please refer to the detailed photographs).
- Carvings:  The intricate gold carvings remain intact and beautifully detailed.

Duties and Taxes Information

UNITED STATES BUYERS:  In accordance with eBay policy, all import duties and custom clearance fees have been included in the shipping price.  There are no import duties or custom clearance fees upon delivery.

EU BUYERS:  All items have a mandatory €3 customs duty that will be charged on all e-commerce packages sent from Japan.  This fee is applied per item.  However, you may still have to pay neccessary customs duties, and other related fees.  There are 3 methods of paying the fees.  They are Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP), Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) and Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).  We will ship packages by JAPAN POST but it uses DDU which is not accepted by some EU countries.  We will use SpeedPAK to EU countries that demand PDDP or DDP.  SpeedPAK is a little more expensive.
