May 10, 1970 - Gifted defenceman Bobby Orr, considered by many to be the greatest all-around player Canada has ever produced, scores the winning goal in overtime to give the Boston Bruins their first Stanley Cup in 31 years. Orr would go on to provide many other memorable moments as he dominated the NHL in the 1970's, thrilling fans with his skill., grace, speed and sheer power until injuries brought his brilliant playing career to a close.
