Up for grabs is a NES-001 front loader, fully serviced on my bench in Charleston, WV.

Built for someone who wants an original console that works like new, without gambling on "untested" or “works”(but for how long?) listings.

Complete service:

• Full disassembly, deep clean, contacts professionally cleaned

• Full capacitor replacement – every electrolytic capacitor replaced with Nichicon/Panasonic aluminum electrolytic capacitors, radial leaded, through-hole, polarized, high temperature upgraded by 36°F(fixes audio hum, random resets, long-term reliability.)

• Main board capacitors installed flat to allow clearance for future modifications, many solder joints reflowed to prevent cold joints

• Brand new 7805 voltage regulator – stable 5V, runs cooler than 35-year-old original

• Original Nintendo 72-pin connector serviced – boiled and re-tensioned to correct spacing. I keep OEM connectors, I do NOT install aftermarket connectors that wear faster and are not gold plated, OEM connectors are exceptionally well made and when properly maintained are a personal top choice

• CIC lockout disabled – pin 4 clipped on the chip, plays US and Japanese Famicom carts (with adapter), eliminates blinking red light and allows most games to be played in the up position

• Majority of RF box solder joints reflowed to prevent/fix any cold solder joints in commonly known areas that see heat – No more voltage sag or random resets

• New bridge rectifier

Included:
NES-001 console only (as pictured).

Tested with game– boots first insertion, every time and left on for 2+ hours to test capacitors at full operational temperature.

Cosmetic condition:

• Excellent for age. Shell has some signs of wear, front left corner on the left side has a small crack, very small, hardly noticeable and light surface wear. Light even vintage patina - see photos – not retrobrighted, original plastic

• See all photos for EXACT condition
