The Lightning Style is very definitely a retro thing – there do not seem to be modern examples.

In their time dashes and dots and variations on those themes were about as adventurous as many designs managed to get and remain price conscious

The Lightning pattern is two teamed dashes

Nylon 100% for a classic seamless look

These were made in the UK

New in (slightly damaged) packaging

There are some small smudges to the lower portion of the front of the pack

At the back of the pack the sealing labels are yellowing and the lower corners have received very minor dinks

Sizing is not shown on the rear of the packet

Please do ask if you need advice on sizing

We want you to receive a correctly sized and well fitting product

For presentation purposes this product has been card mounted and will need to be removed carefully to avoid damaging it

These days they are more typically wrapped around the card

We recommend bending the card centrally and then bending the lateral edges of the card over in on themselves so the raw card edges are not in contact with the hosiery

With a hand inside the hosiery and around the card stretch the hosiery gently while crushing the card as they part company
