Natural and untreated sunstone gemstone originating from Oregon USA. This weighs 2.85 CTS and has been cut and faceted into an emerald shape. The measurements are approximately 9.2 x 6.8 x 6.0 mm.

The most notable visual effect of the stone is the unique metallic glittering shimmer seen throughout the stones surface. This called aventurecence ( also called Schiller ) and is the result of a copper mineral within the gemstone. It is also worth noting that copper bearing gemstones are often prized for particular health and metaphysical benefits, although we do not personally make claims of any such benefits. The coloring of the piece is a warm, reddish orange.

Unlike many cabochons or lower grade cuts, this is fully transparent and has very good clarity. There are only very slight natural inclusions found upon close examination. This can be considered eye clean or VVS clarity. We have detected no notable signs of damage or wear and is in prestine condition.
