Item Description :

This is a vintage Japanese pottery Sake cup of Hagi ware, which was made by a great potter, the 12th Tobei Tawara (1925-1991) about 40 years ago.

He is one of the greatest potters of modern Hagi ware, who was identified as an important human cultural treasure of Yamaguchi prefecutre, Japan in 1981.

The seal of the potter is stamped on the bottom.  The original wooden box with the signature of the potter & the profile of the potter are also included.
