Up for auction is a brass HO scale Nickel Plate Products locomotive and tender representing the New York, Ontario & Western Class U 2-6-0 Mogul Camelback, hand-built in Japan by Nakamura Asahi Products (NAP). Cosmetically, this is a very good to excellent example — the brass detail work, paint, and overall presentation are impressive for a model of this age and rarity. The tender carries the original NYO&W builder's plate detail. Please be aware that this locomotive is not currently running and shows evidence of prior electrical work to the tender — it is being offered strictly as-is for a collector or experienced hobbyist comfortable with brass restoration. No returns will be accepted. Comes in the original box, which is in fair condition, with no paperwork included.
