Antique Korean celadon saucer of shallow, gently flaring form, decorated with delicate inlaid (sanggam) chrysanthemum medallions and scrolling motifs beneath a soft grey-green glaze. The finely crackled glaze has developed a warm, naturally aged patina, while scattered iron spots and areas of kiln wear enhance its character. Concentric incised lines frame the decoration, and the exterior is finished with matching inlaid floral motifs and simple banding.
The underside retains traces of kiln grit and firing marks, reflecting traditional firing methods and the piece's considerable age.
Overall, it is a refined example of old Korean celadon, suitable for display or as part of a collection of East Asian ceramics.
A nearly identical example is preserved in the collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
