Featuring twenty-two single-sided monochrome plates And twenty-six double-sided monochrome plates.

No other collation record available.

Includes a wide variety of articles, including on ancient deerstalkers, and deer and boar in Gaelic literature.

Each passage ends with a facsimile signature.

Also featuring an index, illustrated with monochrome vignettes throughout.

Bound in original cream cloth, detailed with a gilt top edge.

Also featuring a leaflet advertising A Red Deer Sanctuary by George Houston, loose and slotted inside.

 

CONDITION

 

 

Bound in full cream cloth. Externally, smart. Some moderate rubbing to boards and extremities. Small mark to rear board. Age toning to endpapers. Ink inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Occasional mild strain throughout. Moderate strain between contents page and p.1. Rear hinge staring between pages of index, but otherwise firm. Pages generally bright and clean, with the odd spot.
