Claiming Beautiful Nylons on the packaging had better not just be good spin

The packaging and the product look to have been excellent and to remain excellent

The colour Bamboo is the best match against the Legwear International colour chart (we hope that helps)

They have a very 1950s feel to their packaging

If you are not used to stocking sizings :

They are really important because of the lack of stretch in older 100% nylon stockings

There is some stretch obviously but only for this foot size !

You really need to take account of the foot length because the Foot of the Stocking will be shaped

Here it is 9.5 – provided in inches = 23.5 cm – 24.8 cm (UK shoe size 5)

This sits within the smaller end of the modern Medium  size range

IF the Foot length : Toe to Heel does not sit within that range

Then these are not going to fit comfortably !

Nylon  100% for a classic seam free look

15 denier is our estimate because the pack offers no information

with a Reinforced Heel and Toe (RHT)

These were made in the UK

New in (somewhat damaged) packaging

The Golden Label on which nothing remains legible would originally have announced :

Expanding Welt and then would have stated the foot size and minimum leg length

We don’t know the leg length because we haven’t removed them from their packaging but we have been able to accurately measure the foot at 9.5 inches

Sizing is not shown on the rear of the packet

Please do ask if you need advice on sizing
