This charming display comes from a remarkable collection of vintage Erzgebirge wooden miniatures recently acquired from a single estate. The collection includes Easter rabbit villages, school scenes, angel orchestras, candle holders, and other folk-art displays produced in East Germany during the German Democratic Republic era. Each set is being offered separately, providing collectors the opportunity to acquire individual scenes or assemble a larger display from this carefully curated collection.

 Offered is a charming vintage Erzgebirge Easter Rabbit Band set from the former East Germany (GDR). Often referred to by collectors as an "Osterhasenband" (Easter Rabbit Band), this charming group features rabbit musicians and villagers in the traditional Erzgebirge folk-art style. This 7-piece wooden folk-art grouping features three rabbit musicians playing brass and woodwind instruments, accompanied by four standing rabbit figures in coordinating colors.

The set is handcrafted and hand-painted in the traditional Erzgebirge style, with wonderful minimalist facial details and warm natural wood tones. The musicians stand approximately 2 inches tall, while the taller standing rabbits measure approximately 3 inches tall.
