Vintage ice axe by Charlet Moser Chamonix, France.

This is a classic wooden-shaft mountaineering ice axe with a traditional forged steel head.

The head is marked Charlet Moser Chamonix.

The metal parts show age-related rust, scratches, discoloration, and wear.
The wooden shaft also shows signs of use and aging.
A purple grip wrap is attached near the head, likely added by a previous owner.

This item has a strong vintage alpine atmosphere and is suitable for collection, display, or decoration.
