The watch has a clean white dial with Roman hour markings, giving this Soviet ZIM a more formal look than many everyday USSR pieces of the same period. The dial carries the ZIM logo and the inscription “Made in USSR” in Cyrillic, exactly the kind of detail collectors like to see on an original Soviet dial. Blackened hour and minute hands sit sharply against the pale background, with a black small-seconds hand adding a neat mechanical rhythm to the lower part of the dial.
