Complete Set of 11 x Antique Late Victorian / Edwardian (circa 1890–1910) Reclaimed Solid Brass Stair Rods with 22 Matching Hinged Brackets

This  a complete, beautifully matched set of 11 authentic late Victorian/Edwardian solid brass stair rods, fully complete with their original 22 period-correct fixing brackets removed from a restored staircase in our recent renovation..

These all have the rare Premium Hinged Mechanism: which unlike common replica variants or static slide-through loops, this set features highly collectible, heavy cast brass hinged brackets. The top section pivots smoothly back on a rear hinge to drop the 10mm rod into place from above, locking tightly at the base using a traditional period brass thumbscrew. This makes installation or removal for carpet cleaning incredibly straightforward.

11 matching solid brass rods and 22 original hinged thumbscrew brackets.

Dimensions: 19 inches in length.

Thickness: Substantial 10mm diameter profile (Genuine solid core brass bars, not hollow tubes).

 Heavyweight unlacquered solid brass.

Authentic reclaimed architectural salvage. Left in its original unpolished state, showcasing a lovely dark aged patina, historic character, and light surface oxidation.

As expected with genuine salvage, all of the brackets have small remnants of historic white gloss paint from when the staircase stringer was painted over the decades. This can easily be cleaned off with a standard paint stripper or left intact for historic charm.

**Please note: one of the brackets is slightly different - see last pic.
