For sale is a post-1980 Japanese made Buddhist altar bell set consisting of a brass Orin bowl bell, Bakelite bell stand, handcrafted fabric cushion and wood striker.  The total height of the Orin bowl bell, cushion and bell stand is approx. 14.5cm (5 11/16) inches.  It is ideal for meditation and traditional Buddhist rituals.

This is a traditional Japanese Buddhist Orin (Singing Bowl) set featuring the authentic "Hama" (浜) signature engraved inside the bowl.  The bowl is crafted with a beautiful metallic finish that produces a rich and deeply resonant tone.

Overall Condition of the Set:
- Singing Bowl Bell: Features the engraved character "Hama" (浜) inside a circle.  Shows a natural aged patina, surface stains, minor oxidation and scratches from age, but has no major dents. The sound quality remains excellent.
- Bell Stand: Shows noticeable scuffs, gold wear, etc. adding a fine vintage character. 
- Cushion: There is a dark mark(s), loose string(s), dust, etc.
- Striker: Shows minor wear and a natural aged patina from use.  It remains in solid functional condition.

No damage really effects the sound or tone of the bell.  SOUND IS AVAILABLE!  The set was skillfully crafted from good material by Japanese artisans so the set is durable and can be used for many more years.  Please refer to the photographs to determine the overall condition and the quality of the craftsmanship, material, size, etc.
