Vintage 1980s International Billfish League Sponsor Sign Rare IBL Marlin Fishing

- Original 1980s International Billfish League (IBL) framed sponsor sign.

- Features the vintage stylized blue and white billfish/marlin logo on a metallic silver background.

-The sign is housed in a vintage metal channel frame with rear tension clips and hanging wire. Cover appears to be plexiglass (acrylic) rather than standard glass.

- Dimensions approximately

20.25” x 14.25” x 1” : Weight 2 lb 9.4 oz

- Rare piece of early big-game sport-fishing tournament and marine conservation history.

- International Billfish League was a prestige club for high-rolling boat teams competing in heavy-hitter tournaments across Key West, Palm Beach, and the Bahamas.

- Excellent decor piece for a Coastal Estate, Yacht Club, Nautical Barroom, Private Tackle Room or Man Cave.

NOTE: Pre-owned vintage condition. There are some small spots in the color (Pic #10, #15, #16 & #17). The plexiglass has gathered some scratches over the years (Pic #8, #14, #19 & #20). It was very difficult to get pictures of these issues. I decided to leave the “patina” as-is, instead of polishing it out using a specialized plastic restorer like Novus No. 2. The frame has a few minor spots and scratches expected in such a vintage piece.
