Tall Hull Dogwood Vase

 
Gorgeous large vase is from Hull's Dogwood line produced in the mid 1940's.  Long scrolling handles.  Overall creamy peach color with pink and yellow dogwood blossoms plus leaves on one side and a slightly smaller version of the same on the other side.    Excellent condition!  No chips or crazing found.   Just a glaze pop on the front near the top, and a small, tight hairline on the back at the bottom.  Very clean, just dust residue inside at the bottom.  I don't believe this piece was ever used - just displayed.
 
Very strong mold, beautiful soft matte colors, very graceful form.  Marked on the bottom HULL U.S.A 510 - 10 1/2", plus an incised "13" maker's mark.  Pieces of the Dogwood pattern are not seen as often as some of the other lines, and not as many of these large pieces were made.  So this one can be harder to find.  LARGE and HEAVY.  Great addition to your Hull or art pottery collection. Book value is $325-425.
