SOUVENIR SPOON FROM BARBADOS

I’m not sure when my family picked up this souvenir.  I would guess the 1970’s or ‘80’s at the very latest. Since I know nothing about antiques, I am reluctant to even try polishing it so it is very tarnished.  If you need more details, please check the photos and ask if you have any questions.

·      It measures about 4 ½” long

·      The word “Barbados” is stamped into the metal at the top of the handle along with a symbol which I just can’t figure out. (I have googled the symbols for Barbados, and nothing looks like this. Perhaps it is indicative of a symbol used before the current one and helps date the spoon.)

·      The word “Bridgetown” is stamped into the spoon’s bowl

·      The spoon’s handle is a textured braid.

·      Stamped into the metal on the back of the handle are the initials “E.P.N.S.” (I don’t know what they mean), “Made in Poland” in a circle, and a “B” in a six-sided symbol.

I try to describe my items fairly and honestly to the best of my ability but please feel free to email me should you have any questions at all about them.

Should you bid on and win more than one item/lot I have up for auction this week, if possible, I will gladly ship them together and save you postage.

I ship (to US only, please) within 1 business day after notification of payment.  Payment should be made within 2 days of auction’s end unless arrangements have been made between buyer and seller.
