There are brooches… and then there are brooches that feel quietly composed and beautifully balanced.

This elegant wreath design alternates soft, luminous pearls with finely worked silver floral clusters, creating a classic circular form that sits gracefully on lapel, knitwear or silk.

Delicate at first glance — but detailed on closer inspection.

The Design

A traditional wreath formation, approximately 30mm across, formed from:

• Six round pearls (untested)
• Six silver granulated floral clusters
• Fine beaded edging around each pearl setting
• Traditional straight pin with rollover clasp

The alternating pattern gives rhythm and symmetry, while the silver detailing provides texture against the softness of the pearls.

It has a lovely early–mid 20th century feel — refined, feminine, and timeless rather than showy.

The Metal

Unhallmarked but tests as silver.

The reverse shows age-consistent patination and hand-finished construction.
Granulated cluster tops are formed from small silver bead elements — not marcasite, but solid silver detailing.

Weight: 4.07 grams
Diameter: approx 30mm

Light enough for comfortable wear, substantial enough to feel authentic.

The Pearls

Untested.

They display:
• Soft natural lustre
• Gentle tonal variation
• Subtle surface character consistent with cultured pearls

They are not high-gloss imitation plastic, and they do not present as synthetic costume beads.
However, as they are untested, they are described conservatively and honestly.

Condition

Vintage condition.

• Secure settings
• Clasp functioning correctly
• Surface wear consistent with age
• Silver patina present to reverse
