Project Piece: Hanging Vintage Chinoiserie Blue White Porcelain Ladybug Canopy: Hanging Garden Ornament

- Vintage porcelain ladybug or beetle canopy piece for a wind chime, hanging garden bell or plant.

- I’m sure someone clever could find a good use for this. It’s such a cool piece!

- Glossy white glaze with blue transferware Chinoiserie pattern depicting dragonflies, butterflies, and floral motifs.

- Measurements: Approx. With Chain

12.5” x 8” x 6.25”: iron bar extends 6.5” below: Beetle cover approximately 2.25” and chain is 3.75”

NOTE: This is being sold as a project piece for restoration. It retains the original internal iron rod, hanging chain, and top ring loop. However, any original dangling chime pieces, wind catchers or other original pieces are missing.

- The porcelain body is in good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is heavy rust, corrosion on the iron bar, chain, top mounting plate, and metal components as shown in the pictures. There is also rust staining on top of the porcelain back of the ladybug.
