The Zenith Defy El Primero 21, reference 49.9000.9004/78.R582, is one of my favorites. It’s a split second, time stopping 44mm chronograph housed in a bold black ceramic case. This features a skeletonized dial that puts the dual-escapement architecture on full display. There’s one for standard timekeeping, and another for the chronograph, which is capable of measuring down to the 1/100th of a second.

 There’s a single hairline mark on the 9 o’clock This piece is being offered as watch only and is fitted on a black crocodile strap. It’s in good condition overall with a clean bezel and crystal.side of the case and a light scuff on the buckle. It’s running healthy as it should with an amplitude of 278, keeping time with the accuracy of -4 sec/day.
