Radio is a brilliant, concept-driven solo instrumental hip-hop album by Los Angeles producer Exile, released on compact disc in 2009 by the independent label Plug Research (catalog number PLG93CD). The innovative 15-track record was constructed entirely out of audio captured live from LA radio airwaves, masterfully chopping up loops, commercial snippets, and static into dense, soulful MPC-driven beat soundscapes.
