Matted and Ready to Frame, with a Charles Scott Gallery Letter of Authenticity

Sharon Jensen is an award-winning artist working in the American Southwest.  She is a Signature member of the Pastel Society and has exhibited at the New Mexico Masterworks and Pastel Society of New Mexico shows, as well as many others.  

This particular work, "Remember Van Gogh" measures approximately 9 1/2" x 12 5/8" (paper). It will be matted to 11" x 14" (see below for matting information). We'll include both a Charles Scott Gallery Letter of Authenticity and a biography of the artist. Note: pastel has not been sprayed with fixer, you may find some pastel powered onto the mat after shipping - it can be lightly brushed off.

Sharon states: "Upon visiting New Mexico and seeing the beautiful skies, wide open spaces and the mountains, I just knew I had to live here.  Upon moving here in 1999,  I immediately started painting the gorgeous sunsets.  The immediacy and brilliance of soft pastels made them the perfect medium to interpret the vibrant skies and the open vistas of this breath-taking land. My hope is that my work will convey to others what I experience; whether it be the quiet spirituality of New Mexico’s mountains, mesas, and many chapels, or the awe of a sunset or storm clouds gathering."

We will mount this gorgeous piece of art in an acid-free, 4-ply paper mat that measures 11" x 14" - so you can just buy your own frame and hang it in your home gallery. We only use archival/acid-free materials in mounting your artwork. NOTE: in most cases we have not yet mounted the art in a mat, so if you wish to have us leave it unmounted let us know IMMEDIATELY when you make the purchase, as we will often mat it within minutes.
