What is the hole cutout size? Can these be used in narrow ceiling areas?
We recommended that you cut a 4.1"-4.3" hole in the ceiling . The recessed lighting 4 inch only requires as small as 2 inches ceiling spaces and fits various ceilings, no cans required. Great for new construction or remodel applications.

Can the canless recessed light be placed in wet or damp areas such as bathrooms?
The 4 inch led black recessed lights are damp-rated, which means it will be suitable for damp locations like bathrooms. But that does not mean waterproof. So it is best to install it above the shower to avoid direct contact with water.

How to change between the 5 color option of the recessed light ?
There is a selector switch you can select the color temperature on the metal connector box.

Would this canless lights work with the smart dimmer switch?
The 4 inch led black recessed lights can be turned on and off with smart switch, but dimming performance is not as good as ordinary dimmer switch.
