This RARE piece is “The Tunnel of Love” Pewter Gold Thimble Signed by Nicholas Gish. This is a HARD TO FIND pewter crafted thimble created by the famous and now deceased artist Nicholas Gish. The Thimble is made in the shape of a tunnel and the couple seated in the bench seat move freely in and out of the tunnel, just like the carnival ride. The couple, bench, and LOVE sign are gold toned while the rest of the thimble is Pewter.

It is signed on the side by Nicholas Gish.

Nicholas Gish's artistry in pewter is amazing and he is well known for his thimbles. Nicholas Gish

passed away at the end of 2006 and his company closed the following year. His work is highly collectible.
