Employee Timetable # 116 from the Alaska Railroad, dated May 15, 1984. This timetable lists all trains operated by the Alaska Railroad over its Seward, Whittier and Anchorage Sub-divisions, and over the Palmer and Eielson Branches. Listings are by train number, with arrival/departure times for stations served.

On tracks where scheduled trains are not operated, the stations are listed. The timetable includes locations of side tracks, train speed limits, special instructions to train crews, handling hazardous materials, snow service and conditions, setting out cars, wide and heavy loads, train inspection, engine ratings, slide areas, tunnels, clearances, loading diagrams, much more.

There is a section that has special instructions for specific locations on the railroad. There is a detailed car chart, which labels some 177 components of freight cars, wheels and couplers. There are two pages with color-coded flagging diagrams. The back cover has a speed table and the names and titles of principal officers in the railroad's operating department. The front cover shows a map of the Alaska Railroad system.

This timetable is unused and in excellent condition. It has no writing or markings. There are no rips or tears, no spills or smears.  The timetable measures appx 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches. The cover is a cardstock material, and the content pages are a quality paper stock.

A great item for Alaska railfans.
