1968 Denver & Rio Grande Railroad passenger train timetable (November)

The Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad (DRGW), usually called the "Rio Grande", was a western railroad that served Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico from its origin in 1870. Its primary route was between Denver and Salt Lake City. The DRGW purchased the Southern Pacific Railroad (SP) in 1988, and the new railroad assumed the name of the SP. The SP was later acquired by the Union Pacific Railroad (UP), and most surviving DRGW lines are now a part of the UP. 

For auction is a passenger train timetable dated ONovember 1, 1968. It lists all trains operated by the DRGW, to include the famous California Zephyr, for which there is an equipment manifest. Listings are by train number, with arrival/departure times for stations served. There is a timetable for the Aspen Branch, on which freight-only service was offered, as well as fare schedules for coach and Pullman services. Included is a map of the DRGW trackage, and a map that shows the route of the California Zephyr with connecting railroads.

This timetable measures appx 9x4 inches unopened and opens to app 16x9 inches. It is printed on medium-weight cardstock. It is unused and in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, writing, markings, spills or smears.
