Description
For auction is a timetable from the former Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (B&O), dated April 1957. It contains listings for all trains operating between New York, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore and Washington.
Listings are by run number, with arrival/departure times for stations served. A number of the trains had names, to include the Capitol Limited, the Diplomat, the National Limited, the Shenandoah, the Royal Blue, and the Metroliner Limited. The timetable includes maps and information about motor coach connection locations in New York and Brooklyn; information about Pullman, coach and dining car services; and a list of B&O ticket offices.
This timetable measures appx 6 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches unopened and opens to appx 14x13 inches. It is printed on medium-weight semi-glossy paper stock. Now some 50+ years old, it is in very good condition -- no rips, tears, spills, or smears. There are six check marks by train times, likely made by the rider, as well as some margin pencil marks.
A great collectible for the B&O railfan.
