THERE ARE TWO MAIN STYLES OF REMINGTON 870 FORE-END TUBE ASSEMBLIES
The difference is the tab on the end of the action arm, newest style has the tab to interact with slot in the newest style bolt slide while the older style parts have no slot or tab. SEE LAST PHOTOS for comparison. Pin is pointing to New style slots and tab.

If your Bolt slide has no slot then this is the correct Tube assembly for your gun.
