■ CONDITION

Very good vintage condition. The black-and-white body presents cleanly with vivid Metropolitan Police markings and the Imperial chrysanthemum crest on the hood. The red roof flasher unit is intact and well-preserved. Chrome detailing on the front grille and bumpers remains bright. The interior features a detailed Showa-era tin lithograph with blue seats, dashboard gauges, and steering wheel in excellent condition. Friction mechanism runs smoothly and engine sound mechanism is present.

Original box is in good condition — graphics are bright and the structure is sound, with only minor surface wear consistent with age.

■ ABOUT ICHIKO

Ichiko Corporation (株式会社一晃) was one of Japan's most celebrated tin toy manufacturers, founded in the postwar era and active until 2000. Their large-scale friction-powered tin cars — particularly the iconic Japanese police and patrol car series — are among the most sought-after pieces by Showa toy collectors worldwide. The Nissan Skyline patrol car, with its authentic Metropolitan Police livery and engine sound feature, represents one of Ichiko's most memorable designs.
