Z.1007 Bomber Was A Three Engine Medium Bomber Developed By The Italian Shipyard CRDA In The Late 1930s, Led By Designer Filippo Zabata, And Completed Its Maiden Flight On March 11, 1937. The Aircraft Adopts A Cantilevered Single Wing Double Vertical Tail Layout, With A Wooden Semi Hard Shell Body, Equipped With Three Biagio P.Xi Rc40 Air-Cooled Engines, A Crew Of Five, A Maximum Takeoff Weight Of 17330 Kilograms, A Range Of 1280 Kilometers, And Can Carry 1180 Kilograms Of Bombs Or Two 450 Kilogram Torpedoes. The Prototype Mm.20687 Is Equipped With An Isota Flasmony Xirc15 Liquid Cooled Engine, While The Improved Z.1007bis Is Equipped With A P.Xi Star Engine And Optimized For Defensive Firepower, Increasing Its Payload To 1200 Kilograms. The Final Improved Z.1007ter Was Equipped With A 1175 Horsepower Biagio P.Xix Rc45 Engine, Which Increased The Maximum Speed To 490 Kilometers Per Hour.
