1979 Andre Tchelistcheff Signed Photo and Letter - "Dean of American Winemakers"

A nice set of two signed items from the "Dean of American Winemakers" Andre Tchelistcheff.  Included is a signed & inscribed photo and signed letter dated July 3, 1979.  At the time the letter was written, Mr. Tchelistcheff was a consulting enologist to California wineries.  Mr. Tchelistcheff is best known for his contributions toward defining the style of California's premium wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon.

The photo measures 3 1/2" x 5" and the letter measures 8 1/2" x 11".  The inscription on the photo reads "With my best wishes Andre Tchelistcheff".  The letter, dated July 3, 1979, is on Andre Tchelistcheff's letterhead and makes mention of the signed photo.  I believe the photo has an authentic, hand signed inscription and signature of Andre Tchelistcheff.  I also believe the letter was hand signed by Andre Tchelistcheff (please note the letter, inscription and signature have not been authenticated).  The envelope has Andre Tchelistcheff's return address and is postmarked July 15, 1979 in Napa Ca.

The condition of the photo, letter, and envelope is excellent.  Please see photos to confirm condition.  The winning bid will receive the three items shown in the photos.
