The coin's obverse side depicts a dragon surrounded by Latin script reading "Manchurian Provinces." The reverse side has Chinese ideograms that translate to "Made in the Three East Provinces Xuantong (Emperor) / Yuanbao (Original currency) Worth 1 Mace and 4.4 Candareens (weight)"
