recently  I sold a small variety of this drug store bottle....offered here is a rare large size...great color...tough to find big ones (from same lifetime collection)

THE ORIGINAL OWNER THOUGHT THIS WAS A SCARCE MERCHANT VARIETY TO FIND IN THIS PRISTINE CONDITION & THIS SIZE...IT HAS A HIGHER RARITY BUT A TOUGHER TOWN WITH FEW DRUG BOTTLES LISTED.....AND HE WOULD KNOW...HE WAS THE LATE AUTHOR ED MILLER WHO WROTE THE "BIBLE" OF CALIFORNIA DRUG STORE BOTTLES AND DOSE GLASSES...

THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE FROM 1890'S....NO INFO PROVIDED IN THE TOYNTON CATALOG

THIS IS  A GORGEOUS UNCLEANED SPECIMEN....HOPING YOU CAN TELL  HOW NICE THIS ONE IS FROM MY AVERAGE PICTURE TAKING ABILITY :)...THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE,....CAN FIND NO DAMAGE, DISPLAYS NICELY

THIS EX-MILLER BOTTLE HE CONSIDERED SCARCE TO FIND THIS NICE, HE WOULD CONTINUALLY UPGRADE CONDITION SO THIS WAS NICEST EXAMPLE HE FOUND...JUST A GREAT LOOKING BOTTLE...(felt it was very tough to find this nice, and this large size)

The historic and beautiful old town of AUBURN goes back to the California Gold Rush 1849 era and is located in PLACER County...not far Cool, Pilot Hill, Loomis and Newcastle California

The bottle is what I would call a rich purple colored glass, it is a large size and stands full 7" tall  ...and it is a very beautiful specimen, just has not been cleaned at all but glass is great., neat bottle. Crisp embossing on this one......no damage i could find, would turn deeper purple if exposed to sun...displayed with old cork
