E. Etsitty Old Pawn Sterling Silver & Spiny Oyster Cuff Bracelet | Sz - 5.75

A stunning example of classic Navajo silversmithing, this substantial cuff bracelet is signed E. Etsitty and hallmarked Sterling on the inner band — a mark of authenticity and quality craftsmanship from a recognized Navajo artisan. The centerpiece is a large, polished oval spiny oyster shell cabochon displaying a gorgeous range of warm coral, salmon, and russet tones with natural striations that give the stone a rich, organic beauty.

The stone is set within a hand-twisted rope bezel framed by a sunburst of fine silver repoussé work, creating an elegant raised setting that draws the eye immediately. Flanking the center stone, the wide sterling silver band is adorned with beautifully executed stamped and repousse feather motifs, with carefully hand-tooled decorative repoussé stamp work including leaf and crescent designs running the full length of the cuff. The edges feature a distinctive scalloped border, and the cuff itself has a substantial, weighty feel that speaks to the quality of the silver used. This cuff bracelet has an internal measurement of 5-3/4" and a 1" gap opening. It weighs 66.59 grams and will fit a 5.25" wrist comfortably.

This is a bold, wearable piece of Southwest Native American jewelry that would make an exceptional addition to any collection or wardrobe.
