This is ROBIN the camper bear made by Bears of Corbett Hollow Sue Corbett. Robin was made for the 1993 Disneyland Teddy Bear and Doll Classic. She stands 18 inches tall and is fully jointed. Made from medium gold dense distressed mohair with imported black glass eyes. She has suede leather paw pads and her left hand is signed by Sue Corbett.

I bought her at the 1993 Disney Classic and was lucky enough to get one as I waited in the long line for her. She was highly sought after and she is Number 22 of 25.  Complete with her backpack, canteen, shoes, bedroll, scarf, glasses, COA and tag. She was never exposed to smoke, perfume or scent of any kind and has been kept in a glass cabinet since I bought her in 1993.

I owned a teddy bear shop for over 22 years and going to the Disney Teddy Classic was truly one of the highlights of my bear collecting and love. I used to write articles about different bear artists for Teddy Bear and Friends, Teddy Bear Review and some of the UK bear magazines and Joy of Collecting magazine. I never intended to own a teddy shop but when I learned the shop I loved was going to be sold I ended up buying it. I never made a paycheck, but it was a great 22 years of meeting artists and other people who love these bears and other animals. It is just time for ROBIN to find another home with a collector. She really is beautiful.
