CW Kent Electreat Electric Massage Machine w/ Original Pamphlet and Accessories

This is the Electreat electric massager that was patented by C.W. Kent in 1919. It claimed to be be a pain relief aid but was later found to be false. Kent was later the first individual to be prosecuted under the 1938 Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act for making unsubstantiated medical claims. This listing features the original Electreat massager, complete with attaching cord, internal electrode, scalp and body massager, sponge and handle, and palm pad. It also includes the original pamphlet and box.

Pre-owned item. This item is vintage and has wear from age and use. It has not been tested. Has a variety of items, most look to be in great condition for their age. Comes with its original box, which has some cosmetic wear. Sold as is, see pictures for additional reference.
