★ Condition & Operation
As it is a vintage item, there are some minor scratches, but there is no damage and no issues. It has been serviced and is in good working order with no problems with operation or sound quality.
This is a relatively clean and well-preserved specimen, with a particularly good head condition!
The upper part of the front panel has been repainted due to scratches.

I personally believe this is an undeniably excellent product. In particular, the condition of the head is very good, and I think the treble is coming through clearly.
Based on the internal condition, it appears to have been used indoors in a clean environment, and the mechanics also seem to have had minimal use. Overall, it's in excellent condition and highly recommended.

★ Maintenance Details
This time, we've replaced the VU meter with an LED lamp.
- Disassembly and greasing of the mechanism
- The idler rubber in the winding mechanism has been replaced with a new one.
- Replaced the meter lamps with new LEDs.
- Gear replacement (Some gears in this model are prone to breaking, so they will be replaced with new compatible parts)
- Replacement of the flywheel drive belt (using a high-precision, audio-specific belt with the correct size and tension).
- Exterior and interior cleaning
- The surface of the pinch rollers has been lightly sanded to restore their grip to like-new condition.
• Head has been cleaned.
- Capstan has been cleaned.
The heads are polished very thinly with a special chemical that does not put stress on them, resulting in improved sound quality compared to normal cleaning.
- Adjust recording and playback levels.
- Azimuth adjustment using a measurement system.
• Tape speed has been adjusted using a test tape.
- Audio quality was checked by ear using commercially available music tapes.
- Check and adjust the bias (frequency response for normal, metal, and high-position tubes).
- The plug-in part is prone to deterioration, so it was resoldered and reinforced.
- Demagnetizing the head using a demagnetizer.
- Clean the volume pot with a chemical cleaner to remove any crackling noise.
- Check the tape torque
The terminals have been polished to a shine.
