19th century Chinese soapstone seal with carved sunken character on the bottom. The first photo shows the image of printing surface flipped left to right, so the seal can be read. Very nice variegated color stone, crisp carving of the character, old traces of red seal paste in the grooves, in excellent condition, very nice scholar’s object. Height 3.11 inches, base 1.19 x 1.19 inches.
