19th century Chinese soapstone double seal with carved raised characters on the terminals. The first photo shows the image of printing surfaces flipped left to right, so the seals can be read. Very nice color stone with some translucency, crisp carving of the characters, old traces of red seal paste in the grooves, in excellent condition, very nice scholar’s object. Thickness 0.43 inches, bases 1.39 x 0.75 inches.
