Late Meiji - early Taisho Japanese boxwood seal with four raised characters on the bottom. The first photo shows the image of printing surface flipped left to right, so the seal can be read. Crisp carving of the characters, old traces of red seal paste in the grooves, in great condition, very nice scholar’s object. Height 2.2 inches, base 0.65 x 0.65 inches.
