Late Qing Dynasy (1880s 10 1911) century Chinese glass seal of square section. The first photo shows the image of printing surface flipped left to right, so the seal can be read. Wonderful simple piece appropriate for a scholar’s desk, beautiful transparent glass, very pleasant finish to the surface. The bottom is carved with raised characters, old dried sea paste in the grooves, some chipping to corners as can be seen on photos. Height 2.28 inches, base 0.42 x 0.42 inches.
