Celebrated Italian Stile Liberty (Art Nouveau) Artist.
This looks and feels like an original woodcut print,
but we cannot be certain.
It is the FP for an early edition of 'Notturno'
by d,Annunzio, and reads (roughly translated):
' To love to grief and to the death of my mother
these pages are written with sacred blood '
printed in Italy c1923.
