Beautiful peace, obviously in use condition with noticeable ware but great piece to add any collection

I am unsure fully about the history of this piece. I do not know whether it is actual Civil War era a reproduction. I have no idea. I just know that it came from a 60 year-old collection so I know it’s at least that old. I do not know anything further than that.
