Description – 1/2 IN NPT STAINLESS STEEL BALANCED PRESSURE STEAM TRAP by STERIS Corporation / stainless steel balanced-pressure thermostatic steam trap / automatically discharge condensate, air, and other non-condensable gases from a steam system while preventing the loss of live steam. Because it utilizes a balanced-pressure thermostatic element (bellows capsule), it senses temperature differences. It remains open to vent cooler air and condensate but seals shut the instant it encounters hot, live steam.
