1500000422060

The Gold Tone OBBS Open Back banjo strings are built to bring out the warm, resonant voice of your open back banjo. With a custom gauge combination of .010, .012, .015, .024w and .010, these strings deliver a balanced, warm yet bright tone that responds eagerly to your playing style. The nickel-plated steel construction gives you crisp note articulation, rich overtones and long-lasting tone. The loop end design ensures universal compatibility with all open back banjos, while the Made in the USA craftsmanship speaks to their quality. The corrosion-resistant packaging also keeps your strings fresh until you're ready to install them. With a feel that maintains easy playability, the Gold Tone OBBS allows musicians at all levels to get the most out of their banjos.

Nickel-Plated Steel Provides Crisp Articulation and Longevity

The steel used for the Gold Tone OBBS is nickel-plated for stellar tone, crisp note articulation and long-lasting durability. The steel construction brings out the banjo's signature metallic ring and overtone-rich voice. And the nickel-plating helps produce clear note separation while protecting the strings from corrosion over time. This keeps your strings sounding their best for many playing sessions before needing to be changed. The steel and nickel-plating work together to give your banjo tone sparkling treble, clear mids and tight low end.

Loop Ends Allow Universal Compatibility

Thanks to their loop end design, the Gold Tone OBBS strings can be used on any open back banjo, regardless of tailpiece setup. The loop end circumvents the need to tie off or wrap the string around a tailpiece, ensuring quick, frustration-free installation. Just thread the loop through the tailpiece and fine-tune to pitch. This universal compatibility makes the OBBS a versatile string set that banjo players of all levels can rely on.

Built to Last With Premium American Craftsmanship

Constructed in the USA, the Gold Tone OBBS Strings showcase exceptional build quality and attention to detail. The custom nickel-plated steel provides clarity and definition, along with improved corrosion resistance for longer string life. The loop end design allows easy installation on any tenor banjo, while the corrosion-resistant packaging keeps your strings fresh. When you choose the OBBS strings, you get the quality and pride of American workmanship in every set. Whether you play occasionally or are constantly gigging, their premium construction ensures these strings will hold up to serious use while providing consistent tone show after show.
