Upgrade an existing grid-tied solar setup with battery storage, without changing your current PV inverter. The Solis S5-EA1P3K-L is a single-phase, AC-coupled battery inverter that can charge from the mains, making it ideal for using off-peak night tariffs. Solar panels do not connect directly to this unit.

How it works (AC Coupled Upgrade)

Dual CT Measurement (Two Measurement Points)

This system uses two current measurement points so the inverter can manage charge and discharge accurately:

• CT 1 (PV generation monitoring): Fit on the same supply line as the grid-tied PV inverter to measure solar production.
• CT 2 (whole-house consumption): Connected to the meter port to measure total household demand and manage battery power flow.

CT clamp included for power flow management (installer configuration required).
