Moroso SARUYAMA ISLAND armchair by iconic Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita
"The Saruyama Island Sette Lounge Chair is a unique addition to the revolutionary project designed by Toshiyuki Kita for Moroso in 1989.
With Saruyama Islands, Kita develops and expands the design for Saruyama, combining with the first “archipelago” of independent islands, small seats, a chaise lounge, and small tables that can live together or independently.
The Sette chair maintains the organic aesthetic features and functions inherent in the initial design. A sloping upholstered pillar emerges from the base serving has a comfortable backrest for the large seat. Saruyama island collection covers are not removable."
